BIO:
Caroline has been practising yoga for 14 years and teaching for 5. She holds A C.H.Edu Dip.Yoga and is a Yoga Register Teacher.
Originally from a classical dance background, Caroline worked within the flowing yoga styles yoga of Vinyasa and Ashtanga. In 2002 she discovered Yin yoga during a weekend workshop with Sarah Powers. The weekend was a turning point in both her teacher training and her own practice. The attraction to the passive Yin style was immediate. Here was a calmer and more reflective style which, complemented perfectly the more active forms. Caroline went on to study the work of both Paul Grilley and his teacher Paulie Zink. Paulie has been a particular inspiration and Caroline continues to study the medical aspects of QiGong as well as other forms of energy practice.

The classes taught by Caroline combine both passive Yin and active Vinyasa (Yang) sequences to provide a balanced practice cultivating breath, rhythmic movement with inner reflection and stillness. She believes passionately that yoga is for everyone, whatever age or fitness level. Yoga has no end goal, the prize is in the journey.
