Vicki Ayer Elkins Park, Pennsylvania
I have been practicing yoga for 20 plus years. I became a yoga teacher in 2012, while on the mend from a shoulder injury. When yin yoga was introduced in the teacher training and I learned of its therapeutic and healing attributes, I was intrigued. I became a certified yin yoga instructor in 2013. I have taught yin yoga at a number of studios and offer it at my house.
My passion is to educate students how to move safely in their bodes therapeutically in a manner that best restores strength and joint integrity, while creating space in their bodies and minds to be filled with light, love and healing. My style of teaching is inspired from vinyasa yoga, yin yoga, gentle yoga, and ammayanni therapeutics. I have completed more than 400 hours of yoga training that include therapeutic massage, polarity therapy and positional therapy. I am Yoga Alliance registered.
