As a student of acupuncture and anatomy, my yin yoga classes focus on the physiological benefits of the poses to maintain healthy connective tissue and fascia (Including employing myofascial release techniques) and also on stimulating the body’s meridian lines to balance and shift stagnated or blocked chi. Poses are held for between 3-5 minutes and classes are typically between 60-90 minutes.
