Markus Henning Giess Auckland
Markus completed a 350hour power yoga teacher training with founder Bryan Kest before encountering the other half – Yin Yoga with Paul and Suzee Grilley. Since then he is a dedicated yinster having completed several teacher trainings with Paul & Suzee as well as assisted them on their own training. Before Markus discovered yoga, he worked for 16 years as a professional dancer, musical performer, choreographer, teacher and presenter in Europe. He is also a professional Thai masseur and Reiki master and teaches Thai massage training, meditation workshops and courses.
With over 20 years of teaching experience, Markus is passionate about bringing together his vast and varied knowledge to offer yin yoga training & workshops in a relaxed atmosphere while making yoga anatomy highly entertaining. Based in Germany and New Zealand, he offers Yin Yoga trainings, workshops and retreats in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, New Zealand and Australia.
