Elena Sepulveda     Barcelona, Spain

Elena is a yoga teacher with a passion for the quieter spiritual practices that, like Yin yoga and Vipassana meditation, invite us to explore our innate wisdom and inner peace. However, she also enjoys the challenges and opportunities for growing available to us through the more active type of practices, like Vinyasa yoga. She is a +500 h Yoga Alliance-certified yoga teacher, a Chavutti Thirumal body worker, and has studied and continues to study with Sarah Powers, Jose de Groot, David Lurey, Mirjam Wagner and Helen Noakes.

She is the founder of the yoga-themed journal Yogagenda. Inspired by the following words attributed to the Buddha: “The heart is like a garden. It can grow compassion or fear, resentment or love. What seeds will you grow there?”, in her Yin and Yang yoga sessions, she encourages participants to practice with sincerity, humility, and discipline, acknowledging their uniqueness, to plant and reap seeds of joy.
