Cynde Gragert Ashland
I am a yoga teacher (E-RYT 500) and licensed massage therapist who has been studying and teaching yoga since 1985. I was introduced to yin yoga through Paul Grilley in 1995 and have integrated yin yoga into all my classes. I teach vinyasa and yin classes with an emphasis on mindfulness, deep understanding of anatomy and kinesiology, and use yin yoga methods and effects to help with injury rehabilitation and the unwinding of neuromuscular patterns for a more balanced body. My practice has been influenced by the many skillful teachers I have been blessed to study with (Paul Grilley, Sarah Powers, Kira Ryder, Desiree Rumbaugh, Sean Corn, James Bailey) as well as my own practice and inquiry into Buddhism, Ayurveda, holistic nutrition, bodywork modalities.
