Anne Gourley Albany, Oregon
Anne believes yin yoga is one of the most nourishing yoga styles available to the body. She has used her degree in Social Science for the last 23 years to serve special population needs, most recently the last 16 in community mental health. She has a complete understanding of the need to quiet the mind and practice in a way to release the body gently and with compassion. Since completing her 200 hour teacher training she has attended workshops and trainings to certify her to specialize in serving those with mobility and mental challenges. She also teaches at a local fitness center, through Parks and Recreation and privately in her home studio. Her yin teaching is influenced by Paul and Suzee Grilley, Bernie Clark, Sarah Powers and Biff Mithoefer. Anne is currently enrolled in the advanced yoga teacher studies program at The Bhaktishop in Portland, Oregon.
