Registration for the September 17 – 23, 2023 Yin Yoga Teacher Training
Thank you for choosing to join us for the September 17 – 23, 2023 Yin Yoga Teacher Training. You have several options for paying for the training, as shown below. If you only wish to place a deposit to hold your spot, click the deposit button in the middle row. If you wish to pay for the whole training now, click the full payment button in the top row. And, if you did pay a deposit and now wish to pay the remaining funds, please click the final payment button in the bottom row. The Canadian GST tax of 5% will be applied to all payments.
Note that you have a choice to pay in either Canadian or American currency. If you make a deposit in one currency, please do not pay the final payment in a different currency: you must pay both payments in the same currency. This is important: if you choose to pay the deposit in American currency, and if the exchange rate between the Canadian and American dollar changes significantly before you make your second payment, the price for the course may change. The Canadian $ price is fixed and will not change. Your US$ deposit will be applied against the new US$ price. However, once you have fully paid for the course, there will be no further risk of exchange rate variations. Thus, if you have paid the full US$ price already, there will be no further changes to that price.

Our deposit conditions To guarantee your registration, you can pay a deposit of $200 US or $250 Cdn plus 5% GST. This will assure you a spot in the course, but you must pay the final payment by August 17, 2023 to maintain your guarantee. No deposits will be accepted after August 17. Note, however, if you pay the deposit in US$ and the exchange rate does change significantly, the total price for the course may also change. If that happens, your deposit will be applied against the new price. In other words, once you have paid the full price of the training, you will not be at risk for any other changes, but if you only pay a deposit, the full price of the training may still change. No transfers are allowed No transfers between this trainings and any other training are allowed. Also, the registering student may not transfer their registration to someone else without prior, written approval by Bernie Clark. Cancellation and Refunds If You Choose to Cancel Your Attendance: Payments may be refunded in full (less a $50 Cdn processing fee) if canceled before August 17, 2023. If you cancel after August 17, 2023, and if another student is ready, willing and able to take your spot, we will refund your payment, less the processing fee. The longer you wait to cancel, the less likely it will be that another student can arrange his life, travel, hotels, etc to attend. So, if you do have to cancel, do it earlier than later. If no student is able to take your spot, then you will receive a nonrefundable credit (less a $50 processing fee) which will be held for one year from the date of issue. This credit can be used towards Bernie Clark’s 50-hour online or in person Yin Yoga Teacher Trainings during that one year period. No credit or refund is available if you cancel on September 17, 2023, or if you do not show up for the training on September 17, 2023, or if you leave the training. If We Have to Cancel the Training: Should we have to cancel the training due to a Force Majeure event, such as a pandemic or the hotel no longer being available, any payments you made to us will be fully refunded or applied to a future training depending upon your preference. This will be the full limit of our obligation to you and we will not be liable for any cancellation costs of your hotel, travel or other expenses. Our Covid-19 policy COVID-19 is being effectively monitored, controlled and treated in British Columbia and Canada. The Public Health Agency of Canada is actively monitoring the situation and working with the World Health Organization and other international partners. As such, the risk of transmission in Metro Vancouver, where Granville Island is located, is low. In line with direction from global health authorities, our hosts, the Granville Island Hotel, are taking precautionary measures to help stop the spread of virus, including increased levels of cleaning and disinfection in all common areas. We encourage everyone to monitor themselves for symptoms of Covid-19 or any other illnesses before your arrive. If you are experiencing symptoms of Covid-19, we ask you to take a home test before coming to the hotel. If you test positive before your arrival, please contact us to reschedule your training for a later course. If a student tests positive for Covid-19 during their retreat they must leave the training. Students required to leave due to a positive Covid-19 test may, at no extra cost, take one of Bernie Clark’s 50-hour online Yin Yoga Teacher Trainings during the following one year period. Limitation of Liability The presenters and teachers of this training cannot be responsible or liable for any injury, loss or damage of property, or disruption of any program due to circumstances beyond their control. By taking this training, you acknowledge that you are participating in a Yoga Teacher Trainings during which you will receive information and instruction about yoga and health. You recognize that yoga requires physical exertion that may be strenuous and may cause physical injury, and that you are fully aware of the risks and hazards involved. You understand that it is your responsibility to consult with a physician prior to and regarding your participation in the Yoga Teacher Training. You represent and warrant that you are physically fit and have no medical condition that would prevent your full participation in the Yoga Teacher Training. In consideration of being permitted to participate in Yoga Teacher Training, you agree to assume full responsibility for any risks, injuries or damages, known or unknown, which you may incur as a result of participating in the program. In further consideration of being permitted to participate in Yoga Teacher Training, you knowingly, voluntarily and expressly waive any claim you may have against the instructors and/or the Granville Island Hotel for injury or damages that you may sustain as a result of participating in the program. You, your heirs or legal representatives forever release waive, discharge any covenant not to sue the instructors and/or the Granville Island Hotel for any injury or death caused by their negligence or other acts. You agree to hold the instructors and/or the Granville Island Hotel harmless for any injury caused to you during the training.
