As a cancer survivor, Kerry realized the benefit of the power of the mind and the strength of a strong body. She loves the science part of yoga that offers evidence to how the practice works to heal the body, mind, and spirit. She is an avid cyclist (road and mountain) and loves spending time in nature.
She has been in the health and fitness industry for over 30 years teaching and practicing all modalities from strength classes to vinyasa flow to yin (her passion!). Her yoga training has come under Jonny Kest Life Power Yoga, 200 hour, Yoga Therapy through the Ananda Seva Mission, 500 Hour, and under the guidance, presence, and grace of Sarah Powers, Insight Yoga, Yin / Yang / Mindfulness / Eastern Philosophies 80 hour teacher training, Paul Grilley, and under the brilliance of Bernie Clark and Diana Batts, 50 hour Yin Teacher Training. She currently leads workshops and trainings for practitioners and teachers.
