Kathy Páez Aptos, California E-RYT 500
Kathy Páez is an international teacher, teacher trainer (Yin & Vinyasa Yoga) and continuing education provider. She was born in Costa Rica and moved around frequently during her childhood. She moved to Spain in 2000, and started practicing Yoga in 2001 as a way to relieve anxiety. She started teaching in 2003 at Yoga Studio Barcelona, where she also received her first Yoga Teacher Training. After a transformational study with Paul Grilley in 2006, she became a pioneer in bringing Yin and Vinyasa Yoga to Spain; where she teaches in Barcelona, Madrid, and the Canary Islands. She has studied 400+ hours of Yin Yoga with Paul & Suzee Grilley and over 50h with Sarah Powers. She currently lives and teaches in Santa Cruz, California with her husband, son and Chihuahua.
