Philippa Heritage Hamilton
Philippa (Pip) Heritage arrived on her mat for the first time in 2007 after decades of long distance running had left her body scarred and broken. She quickly discovered the physically healing properties of a consistent yoga practice as well as her yoga’s mat’s crazy ability to quieten the chatter in her mind. After a decade of enjoying the mental and physical benefits of yoga, Pip realized it was time to begin sharing her passion, and completed her first yoga teacher training in 2017. Cultivating mindfulness is the underlying principle of all of Pip’s classes, whether she is guiding you through a slow moving flow, yin or restorative sequence. Students are invited to identify a meditative focal point and use the sensations created by postures to gently anchor them in the present. Pip’s goal is for her students to roll up their mats at the end of class ready to embrace life with a renewed sense of calm and peace.
