Yogis, meditators and spiritual beings of all persuasions have been lining up since midnight in front of Apple Stores throughout the USA hoping to buy one of the first of Apple’s revolutionary new personal spiritual enhancement systems known as the iSelfTM. The iSelfTM allows instant communication with your higher self as well as minute by minute monitoring of your heart’s level of compassion, understanding and openness. An app is available to help exercise the heart and increase its capacity for joy, peace and love. At launch, several third party apps are available that allow communications with other divine beings, such as Shiva, Jesus, Shakti, and the Buddha. Reportedly apps are soon to be launched that will include other great spirits such as the Prophet Mohammed, Mahatma Gandhi and Martin Luther King.
This remarkable addition to Apple’s i-Series of wearable devices clips like a brooch onto shirts, blouses or sweaters right over the heart, where it can sense signals …
It was not long ago that no one had heard of Wi-Fi (as it was originally termed), simply because it is a made up name with no inherent meaning. (It was a play on the words Hi-Fi). But we all know wifi today: it is the way we connect to the ubiquitous wireless networks surrounding us everywhere we go. This is a great convenience: we can always stay in touch – cell phones, laptops, anything with the prefix “i” works via the wireless communication networks surrounding us and penetrating us. But many scientists began to study several mysterious effects in our environment and in our bodies: from the death of pollinators like the bees, birds to clusters of cancers in humans. These scientists began to realize that the ocean of wireless frequencies that we are now bathing the planet in is far from benign. These invisible packets of energy can and do affect our cells: not just our cells but the cells of any living being.
Ande Anderson, maker of films like A Course in Miracles and The Gratitude Effect, goes on a journey to explore the spiritual, psychological and physical benefits of Yin Yoga. She documents her discoveries in her new movie Yin: The Other Half of Yoga. She met and studied with many amazing teachers, but now she is trying to pull together the movie and bring it to the world. You can help! And by helping her, you will be helping to broaden awareness of this beautiful practice. Check out Ande’s crowdsourcing page and contribute to this wonderful project.

Yin Yoga Teacher Trainings
Yin is In! And, it is growing in popularity. Yin Yoga has been with us since the beginning of Hatha Yoga centuries ago. But since the early 19th century, yoga has become more and more yang-like in nature. Everything requires balance: yin completes yang. Yin Yoga is the balancing practice for the more active, muscular yang yogas. There are more and more teachers offering Yin Yoga today, and more workshops and opportunities to learn how to become a Yin Yoga teacher. If diving deeper into the yin-side of life is on your bucket list, there are lots of opportunities for you.
