Registration for the May 2023 YYTT

No transfers between this  trainings and any other training are allowed. Also, the registering student may not transfer their registration to someone else without prior, written approval by Bernie Clark.

If You Choose to Cancel Your Attendance: You will receive a nonrefundable credit (less a $50 processing fee) which will be held for one year from the date of issue. This credit can be used towards Bernie Clark’s 50-hour online or in person Yin Yoga Teacher Trainings during that one year period. No credit or refund is available if you cancel on May 21, 2023,  or if you do not show up for the training on May 21, 2023, or if you leave the training.

If We Have to Cancel the Training: Should we have to cancel the training due to a Force Majeure event, such as a pandemic or the hotel no longer being available, any payments you made to us will be fully refunded or applied to a future training depending upon your preference. This will be the full limit of our obligation to you and we will not be liable for any cancellation costs of your hotel, travel or other expenses.

COVID-19 is being effectively monitored, controlled and treated in British Columbia and Canada. The Public Health Agency of Canada is actively monitoring the situation and working with the World Health Organization and other international partners. As such, the risk of transmission in Metro Vancouver, where Granville Island is located, is low. In line with direction from global health authorities, our hosts, the Granville Island Hotel, are taking precautionary measures to help stop the spread of virus, including increased levels of cleaning and disinfection in all common areas.

We encourage everyone to monitor themselves for symptoms of Covid-19 or any other illnesses before your arrive. If you are experiencing symptoms of Covid-19, we ask you to take a home test before coming to the hotel. If you test positive before your arrival, please contact us to reschedule your training for a later course.

If a student tests positive for Covid-19 during their retreat they must leave the training. Students required to leave due to a positive Covid-19 test may, at no extra cost, take one of Bernie Clark’s 50-hour online Yin Yoga Teacher Trainings during the following one year period.

The presenters and teachers of this training cannot be responsible or liable for any injury, loss or damage of property, or disruption of any program due to circumstances beyond their control. By taking this training, you acknowledge that you are participating in a Yoga Teacher Trainings during which you will receive information and instruction about yoga and health. You recognize that yoga requires physical exertion that may be strenuous and may cause physical injury, and that you are fully aware of the risks and hazards involved.

You understand that it is your responsibility to consult with a physician prior to and regarding your participation in the Yoga Teacher Training. You represent and warrant that you are physically fit and have no medical condition that would prevent your full participation in the Yoga Teacher Training.

In consideration of being permitted to participate in Yoga Teacher Training, you agree to assume full responsibility for any risks, injuries or damages, known or unknown, which you may incur as a result of participating in the program.

In further consideration of being permitted to participate in Yoga Teacher Training, you knowingly, voluntarily and expressly waive any claim you may have against the instructors and/or the Granville Island Hotel for injury or damages that you may sustain as a result of participating in the program.

You, your heirs or legal representatives forever release waive, discharge any covenant not to sue the instructors and/or the Granville Island Hotel for any injury or death caused by their negligence or other acts.

You agree to hold the instructors and/or the Granville Island Hotel harmless for any injury caused to you during the training.
