Vanessa Johnson   Yorktown/Poquoson, Virginia

Vanessa began her yoga teaching journey in Tucson, AZ in 2010. She completed a 200hr teacher training in the Kriya lineage of Hatha yoga. She then took Joe Barnett’s yin yoga training in January of 2014 and later completed a 500hr training in Ashtanga yoga with Melanie Fawer of New Orleans, LA. Vanessa’s husbands military service has moved her family many times giving her the opportunuty to teach in Arizona, Alaska, South Dakota, Louisiana and now Virginia.  She owns a small studio in Yorktown Virginia  called the YOGA space and teaches Ashtanga, vinyasa flow and yin.
