Trish Flynn

Trish Flynn    Sydney

Trish spent many years dancing professionally and choreographing various projects both overseas and in Australia. In 1989 Trish began her journey with yoga when she became pregnant with her first daughter, and continued practising yoga for a number of years. In 2004 she studied to become a teacher at Samadhi Yoga in Sydney and the rest is history. Since meeting Sarah Powers in 2007 at a teachers’ workshop Trish realised her true calling in Yoga as a teacher of Yin Yoga. Trish has a student base that includes school students, gym yogis, professional footballers, dancers and private clients from all walks of life.

Trish believes that life without Yoga is one without light and shade, a life without the amazing tools to experience life to the fullest, with joy. “The greatest lesson that Yoga has taught me is the ability to find stillness and calm within you, a place where there is no judgement and no anger. I have found a place where I can feel safe and peaceful with myself and a place from where I can begin to accept, nurture and grow as a person. To be happy is a choice we can all make and give back to the Universe.”
