Tricia Hughey       Mount Pleasant

Tricia Hughey is a RYT500, YACEP, Certified Roll Model Method Practitioner, Pilates Mat teacher and Co-creator of Yoga Daily based in Mount Pleasant, SC USA.

She was introduced to yoga in 1995 and after completing several teacher trainings in 2003,  began teaching Yoga and movement.
Always reading and learning, she came upon Bernie Clark’s Yin Yoga book in 2007 and immediately loved the Yin style practices. She dove deeply into Yin, learning from Sarah Powers, Paul Grilley and eventually completed a 50 hour training with Bernie Clark.

Her favorite part of the Yin practice is the quiet and reflective short meditations Yin offers throughout class when holding the postures for several minutes. The opportunity sit with oneself and the ever changing sensations these shapes provoke, is why she finds it so valuable. Her classes are offered in studio and livestream via Zoom.
