Teresa Sands

Teresa Sands RN, BSN, MBA     Denver, Colorado

Teresa completed her 200-hour Training in 2017 with ONE Yoga and has been a registered nurse for over 11 years. Her desire to teach came from wanting to share the many benefits, both physical and mental, that come from her yoga and clinical experiences. She holds certifications in Hot and Yin Yoga and is RYT200 with Yoga Alliance, and currently holds YIN classes at Kindness Collective. By grounding students in an ongoing awareness of breath while guiding them through poses with clear directions, safe alignment, and purposeful sequencing, Teresa encourages her students to build greater self-awareness, empowerment, and peace through their yoga practice. Along with continuing her yoga journey, she loves to travel, hike, and spend time with her family. Teresa is grateful for the friendships yoga has facilitated and to her teachers for helping her deepen her awareness and practice.
