After thirty years as a professional in the film industry I was noticing that I had changed. I had become miserable, unhappy, angry, and having trouble sleeping. I was stuck and I got to the point where I would do anything to make myself feel better. Someway… I’m not sure whether it was intuition or a memory of some class I had taken in the past and somehow…. I found my way into a Yin yoga class. I started to feel better. I incorporated it into my day, I felt much better. I took an iRest workshop that promised stress relief, I felt even better! Then I started to sleep more soundly, then to cope more effectively with problems and then I found a way to get unstuck and put the joyless existence behind me.
Like so many before me; the happiness I had found, I wanted to share.
After starting to teach, I realized that I could not only see but also sense that my students were also feeling the calm, the ease and even the happiness that had come to me through Yoga and meditation.
