I have been studying and practicing yoga for 20 years. I have been teaching since 1999. Originally I came to yoga because of back pain, and having a medical background, I was interested in the physical benefits. After years of practice I decided to share yoga with others, becoming a Registered Yoga Teacher. In my personal journey I was drawn to the more meditative side of yoga, and discovered Yin. I have now been teaching yin along with more yang styles since 2002. I have studied with Paul and Suzee Grilly as well as Sarah Powers. One of my students favorite days is “Yin Day” at Etowah Valley Yoga.
