Susan Buckmaster       Berea
YRT200, CSW

Susan is the owner of Body Mind & Sol in Berea, KY as well as a Certified Social Worker.  She has practiced yoga for almost 20 years.  Although her entry into yoga was through Ashtanga and she still practices and teaches a modified and accessible Ashtanga class, her heart is with Yin.  She believes that most people can greatly benefit from the long-held, static poses of yin.

She has taken over 100 hours of Yin trainings with Paul Grilley, Bernie Clark, and Josh Summers and reads everything she can get her hands on about yin.  Susan wants people to have a clear understanding of what they are doing and why – therefore her classes are informative.  But she also believes in the healing power of meditation and uses the physical stillness of yin to help people find stillness of mind.
