Stephanie Burra       Bordeaux

Stephanie began her yoga journey 15 years ago after recovering from 2 car accidents that left her with chronic back problems and constant pain.  Yoga was her refuge in a time when traditional medicine was not able to help.

After practicing yoga in France and around the world on travels for many years, Stephanie decided to begin more official studies to be able to share the magic of yoga. For 2 years she participated in more than 600 hours of yoga training including 300 hours of Yin Yoga and meditation. Her training took place in both traditional schools and through atypical education throughout India (Himalaya & Kerala), Indonesia, and Canada (Montreal & Vancouver). This allowed her to acquire and master various complementary techniques and thus to have at her disposal a beautiful “toolbox” to harmonize the body, the heart and the spirit.

Today, she is the founder of Yoga Corner Bordeaux – an intimate studio where class size is very limited (up to 3 students) and yoga is combined with other methods and techniques for optimal well-being. Stephanie loves the gentleness and serenity that Yin yoga brings, and her peaceful and kind disposition is a perfect match for novices and experts alike.
