Sonia fell in love with yoga ten years ago and has been teaching since 2004. She teaches a blend of traditional Hatha and Yin Yoga to share a beautifully rejuvenating practice. Sonia’s classes take you on a journey of re-awakening, healing & freeing the body from muscular stiffness. The heart of this practice is to find stillness, create space, and allow the necessary time in held postures to replenish and stimulate the flow of chi through the body.
This is the perfect practice to complement more active forms of exercise such as running, swimming, football, weight lifting, etc. It is also the ideal yoga for those suffering from all forms of chronic fatigue and living a high-paced stressful lifestyle. Yin yoga brings yoga back to its meditative essence and has profound physical, emotional and energetic benefits.
