Shelley Boa    Ann Arbor, Michigan

I have been practicing yoga daily practice 2002, mostly Vinyasa and Ashtanga, and later Yin. I received my certification in Canada, in June of 2008, and began teaching at local studios there. I now teach in Ann Arbor, Saline, and the surrounding areas, both private and public classes.

I came to Yin Yoga in 2008, when I spent a weekend studying with Paul Grilley and started to appreciate the benefits and possibilities for all types of students as I started to unwind old tightness in my body. Since then I practice Yin regularly to balance my ‘Yang’ activities . I love teaching Yin, as students have that ‘aha’ moment and start to appreciate for themselves how much they needed it and didnt realize it. My students also report sleeping like babies after an evening class. I am a registered yoga instructor with Yoga Alliance, and CPR/AED certified with American Red Cross. I am continually studying and looking for ways to expand my practice not only for myself but for my clients. I have studied with internationally renowned teachers including Paul Grilley.
