Sarah Erter Seattle, Washington RYT-200
With a background as a Speech-Language Pathologist in the medical field specializing in the restoration of voice, swallow, speech, and respiratory function for those who have undergone treatment for Head and Neck Cancer, I share a blend of art, science, medical knowledge, and therapeutic practices as my career in the medical profession intermingles with Yoga Asana, Pranayama, Mindfulness Meditation, Buddhism, Yoga Philosophy, Ayurveda, Traditional Chinese Medicine, and Qi Gong. I enjoy teaching those who strive for a healthy and sustainable balance between giving to others while also remembering the value of self-care.
Through yoga, there is a pause to process, regenerate, and return with more to give. Not surprisingly, routine self-care allows for a larger capacity to care for and give to others. Although yoga continues as a personal practice, the evolution inspires me to share what I learn in an intentional, creative, and heartfelt way through a softening Yin class rooted in safety and sustainability.
