Sarah DeCecco    Taftville, CT

LCSW, 500 RYT

Helping people of all ages, body types, and experience learn how to use yoga for wellness, self-care, and stress relief through Yin Yoga and workshops. I began my own yoga practice in 1996 and cultivated my love of yoga becoming certified in 2016 through Recovery Yoga and became Yin Yoga Certified in 2018.

Sarah’s Yin Yoga class explores the body/mind connection, our unique points of openness & restriction, how to use compression (pressure) and tension (stretch) in order to deepen this practice mindfully (safely) and with intention.

Diving deep into the connective tissue (fascial net), ligaments and bones, while building awareness to the whole experience in order to respect our individual range of motion. Sarah’s study of Yin Yoga and class offerings are a blend of natural curiosity, Taoist Philosophy, and The Art of Deceleration developed by Liza Dousson, with whom Sarah was Yin Certified. Sarah adds a flair of uniqueness, a love for neurosomatics, and self-inquiry.
