Samantha Layzell    Dedham, England
E-RYT

In 2014 Samantha experienced yin yoga for the first time whilst on a multistyle YTT, after 25+ years of personal practice. Through exploration of yin & Buddhism she found a path to compassionate self-healing and felt drawn to Sarah Power’s teachings, attending over 130 hours of yin yoga/insight meditation training.

She now co-runs the Same Star Yoga studio in Dedham, Essex where she holds weekly yin classes and also blends yin with Anatomy Trains in Motion training (Tom Myers/Karin Gurtner) to support neuromyofascial health.

She believes that yin invites us to be emotionally adventurous, truly being with what is and compassionately challenging us to dig deeper, unwrapping the layers until our innermost self, our Buddha nature, is revealed.
