Prasar (Robert) Smith ERYT200     Victoria, B.C.

I am a certified with Yoga Alliance, having completed my teacher training @ Moksana Yoga Studio and Yin Teacher Training, with Bernie Clark. What brought me to Yoga was, at first, a way to heal and help repair my body from 30 years of distance running. I discovered that Yoga presented, not only a physical practice, but one that enriched my spiritual awareness.

In my classes, whether it be Yin or Hatha, I try to integrate pranayama and mediation along with challenging poses in a fun dynamic class that it suitable for all levels. My teachers include Bernie Clark, Elizabeth Peckham, Padma Nair and Vishvi Ji. I have spent 5 months in India deepening my personal practice, which I hope will expand my teaching abilities. The styles of yoga that have influenced me are Yin, Sivananada and Akhanda.
