Nona Smiles

Nona Smiles    Vladivostok

In summer 2009 I was travelling in Thailand with the purpose to get knowledge in practicing new ways of Yoga, such as Yin Yoga, Detox Yoga, Yoga Asana. I’ve got permission from Paul Grilley to start developing Yin Yoga in Vladivostok (the far-eastern part of Russia). With years of life and practice I understood that it’s such a big thing “to overcome yourself”, and what it means to change yourself in better side. I started doing Yoga in February, 2006.

In the beginning of 2010 I wrote my own book about Yin Yoga. That book includes two parts: informative and practical ones. Informative part tells why is necessary to train yourself in Yin Yoga Level, what positive effects it can give to your body, and what healthful work your ligaments can get. Practical part includes 26 postures. Each asana has detailed description and picture (or 2-3 pictures). As bonus, you can read about usual and medical effects you get after doing Yin Yoga.

Nona travels to teach, gives classes, workshops, corporate events and teacher trainings.
