Mie Takamatau

Mie Takamatau   Melbourne, Australia

Mie's previous experience in contemporary dance and movement lead her to explore the world of yoga.

After being diagnosed with breast cancer in 2013 and went through the difficulties of dealing with various treatments, she decided to further her yoga practice and to become a yoga teacher. She found the effects of Yoga, Meditation and Pranayama on  her mind and body were incredibly helpful during her healing process, both physically and emotionally. Her classes have strong focus on body awareness and synching breath and movement.

Mie has completed 65 hr Yin (Traditional Chinese Medicine module) 65 hr Yin (Ying/Yang Flow Module ) teacher training with Jo Phee in 2017.
