Michelle Ryan

Michelle Ryan     Mobile, Alabama

Michelle teaches hot yoga, vinyasa with weights, Pilates and yin, incorporating mindfulness, encouragement and compassion in every class. Since 2011, Michelle has practiced hot yoga. Though she has integrated other styles along the way, hot yoga has continued to be a passion. In June 2015, she earned RYT 200-hour certification from Sterling Hot Yoga Teacher Training in Puerto Morelos, Mexico, where she took her first yin class and found it a welcome balance to not only the hot yoga practice, but also to life itself.

In May 2016, Michelle completed a 50-hour intensive and training with Bernie Clark and Diana Batts in Vancouver. She is pleased to offer students the challenge of embracing a yin practice, relaxing into its postures, and deepening their connection between mind, body and breath. Michelle is committed to her personal practice and professional development, believing that empathy, experience and knowledge can be the best teachers.
