I took my first yoga class in 2001 and received my initial yoga teacher training certification in 2013. I also received two levels of yin yoga teacher training in 2013 – this has become my preferred style of teaching in addition to slow-paced “traditional” yoga classes. While I am not a yoga therapist I have completed two years of training in this space – this training deepened my personal practice and has made me a better teacher.
I have over 20 years of experience working in corporate America in HR/Technology but I also have a very creative side which has led to working as a personal stylist and writer. When I am not thinking about yoga I love hanging out with my dogs, family and friends – preferably surrounded by plants and books.
