Michele McGinnis     Yakima

Michele discovered the practice of Yin Yoga through the writings of Sarah Powers. She subsequently was introduced to the work of Paul Grilley and Bernie Clark. She dedicates an hour each morning to this quiet practice. She introduced well received Yin classes to both the yoga studio and fitness club where she teaches. Already passionate about safe alignment, Yin has instilled a necessary understanding of skeletal variation and compassionate acceptance for the infinite diversity of her students’ anatomy. Michele received her RYT 200 hour certification in May 2011. Her non-Yin classes are Iyengar influenced and focus on nuanced alignment.
