Michael Morton ERYT Lafayette, Louisiana
Michael Morton is a long time practitioner of Hatha Yoga and completed his Teacher Training in 2006. He is registered through Yoga Alliance (ERYT) and maintains the Red Cross CPR certification. Michael studied and trained with Jonny Kest of Birmingham, MI. and studied Yin with Paul Grilley ( with a deep focus on anatomy and it’s place in yoga asanas). He also received his certification in Anatomy Biomechanics from the Cooper Institutes of Aerobics Research. After retirement from Chrysler Corporation, he and his wife, Lydia Morton, an ERYT with Yoga Alliance opened the Lafayette Center for Yoga in Lafayette, LA. In addition to Yin, the center also has classes in Slow Flow, Astanga and Vinyasa.
