My love of yoga started in my 20’s in Boulder, Colorado as a way to continue my love of sport having left behind a highly competitive swimming and soccer career. After a break to start my career and family I reignited my relationship with yoga in 2001 with the birth of my second child.

Like an old friend, my relationship with yoga never missed a beat.  Practicing off and on through the birth of two more children and a budding career in tech, I realized that it was time to reconnect with myself.  After a fortuitous opportunity to teach a class when the instructor was unable to make it, the bug for teaching hit me and I decide to take a yoga teacher training to delve deeper into the nuances of the practice.

Since then I’ve been honored to learn and train with a number or highly respected teachers in a variety of styles including Vinyasa-Hatha and Yin.  I now focus the majority of my teaching by finding balance between heat (Hot Hatha) and the cooling Yin practice.

No matter what the practice, I invite students of all levels to explore their practice with curiosity and kindness.
