Meg Garofola Richmond, Virginia
Meg started her journey into yoga in 2007, where she studied Hatha yoga at Allegheny College in northwest PA for 4 years. Focusing on Dance and Movement studies, her studies in yoga have always focused on how the breath is a tool of and for movement. She went on to take her 200-hour teacher training in Pittsburgh, in 2010, as well as study at Kripalu Center in Stockbridge, Massachusetts. Meg’s focus is on how you feel in the pose, rather than aesthetics. Her goal is to empower people to feel good in their bodies and hearts, as well as to create a community. Meg has taught Hatha, Hatha Flow, Chair, Yin, Yin & Yang, and yoga for children at many large fitness centers, corporations, and schools. Meg currently teaches Yin, Hatha, and Yoga-Dance in Richmond Virginia, where she is also an elementary school teacher.
