Mary-Laurence Bevington

Mary-Laurence Bevington    Boulder, Colorado

Mary teaches yin and hatha yoga, and was born and bred in Atlanta, GA. She did her first sun salutes while in a theatre secondary school in 1985, and taught her first hatha yoga class in Taos, NM in 1992 by magical happenstance. In her yin classes, Mary invites self-discovery, togetherness with the inner and outer cosmos, and spoonfuls of wishful thinking. Mary has studied and practiced yoga in the US and in India. Her background includes: Body Knowledge Pilates, Body Mind Centering, wilderness guiding, dharma art dance, massage and leadership. And, she earned an MFA in Theatre: Contemporary Performance from Naropa University in 2007. Mary believes that the interplay of sweet yin and sweet yang helps us rediscover our deep nature.
