Maria Elena Baez-Dominguez     Hillsdale N.J.

Fate often has a way of intervening in our lives when we least expect it. Over Fourteen years ago, my son, a United States Marine was shot by a sniper and left paralyzed for life. Our lives changed their course of direction, which in turn, drastically, designed a new purpose of life, for us. A lot of good has happened since that sad day. One of the most important was completing my 200 and 300-hour yoga teacher training. Yoga has provided me with solace, a strong resolved heart and courage to face adversities. I serve from a Bhakti Yoga lineage, which includes, Yoga Nidra, Yoga for Trauma, The Yoga of Dance, Gentle-Restorative, Yin Yoga, Hatha Yoga and Vinyasa Flow.
