Manisha Tare

Manisha Tare    Washington, DC

Manisha has been a long time student of yoga exploring various styles of asana, meditation and chanting over the years. She appreciates active, expansive practices, though her heart truly lies in the more restorative, meditative, and yin aspects of yoga that bring a sense of perspective, energetic balance to the body and mind, and an experience of the expansion of time. Her receptive presence creates a safe environment for students to access their bodies, explore their minds, and enter into the wisdom space of their own hearts. Manisha is also an occupational therapist who works with children with special needs and adults with a variety of chronic conditions and acute injuries. She has an interest in the therapeutic aspects of yoga and is trained in craniosacral therapy through the Upledger Institute. She has completed two 200 hour yoga teacher trainings, in the hatha and vinyasa flow styles. She studies, practices, and teaches in Washington DC
