Lisa French Wixted

Lisa French Wixted   Huddleston

Lisa is 200-hr YTT certified with over 1,500 hrs of yoga teaching in addition to being a former public-school and homeschool teacher with a Masters in Education, K-6th certification, biology, and earth science certifications. Her teaching sparks her to incorporate a theme in every yoga class.

She offers in-person Yin Yoga on Mondays (9-10:00 am) at Full Distance in Mariners Landing at Smith Mountain Lake and Virtual Yin Yoga on Fridays (1-2:00 pm).

Lisa focuses on making personal connections with every student, providing individualized support during practices. She helps students discover creative ways to utilize props to support the body while encouraging students to listen to their inner yoga voice to stay safe and supported.

Lisa believes that yoga is not just about connecting to your body, breath, and mind, but it’s about connecting to those around you.
