Lisa Wixted   Tallahassee, Florida

Lisa Wixted received her 200-hr YTT certification through Many Rivers Yoga and Mommy Me Yoga certification from Katie Wise with YoMama. She is a certified K-6th grade, biology, and earth science teacher. Lisa fell in love with yoga as a La Leche leader, teaching Mommy Me Yoga to breastfeeding moms, helping them to reconnect to their postpartum bodies. She teaches Baby Me, Toddler Me Yoga, Kids’, and Family Yoga at Parks & Recreation and Namaste Yoga. She enjoys introducing young ones to yoga through fun breath work and blending poses with educational themes.

She teaches Yin and Slow Flow Basics Yoga. She enjoys guiding students through their practice, encouraging them to listen to their bodies to make poses work for them, helping students consider yoga props as their friend, being aware of body and breath, providing a fun and supportive environment, and connecting with those around you.
