Lisa James Cardiff
Lisa James is a movement and embodiment teacher with over half a decade’s experience. She began her training in yin yoga with Norman Blair in 2017 and continues to study under him today. In all her work, Lisa offers spaces that are dedicated to the practice of self-enquiry, and within which students can find their way back to themselves.
“I’m passionate about the need for yin in our lives. It slows us down, disentangles the mind, and unravels tension, taking us deep into inner awareness and providing a powerful space within which to release and restore. The practice I teach is something I call REST. It’s the slow movement practice you’d expect of yin but comes with a series of readings and reflections that are allowed to gradually percolate down into the body and settle into the bones – a powerful practice of reverence for ourselves and our journeys.”
