Leigh Drake

Leigh Drake RYT500    Bainbridge Island

In her Yin classes, Leigh generally takes a meditative/contemplative approach to the poses, as the long holds provide an opportunity to practice inhabiting our bodies, feeling our emotions, and noticing our thoughts. Along with the stretching of the fascia during the practice, the insights gained on the mat add flexibility to the way we handle ourselves in the world.

Leigh has been practicing Yin Yoga since 2004 and teaching since 2009. She is registered with Yoga Alliance as an E-RYT500, with over 500 hour of additional training in Yin Yoga and meditation with Paul and Suzee Grilley.
