Leah Wallin Meulemans    Chattanooga, Tennessee

I only began practicing yoga in 2008, but quickly realized that it would become a very important part of my life. After less than a year into my own practice, I completed my RYT with Marianne Wells at Samasati in Costa Rica. I continued my yin teacher training at the Asheville Yoga Center in North Carolina, and have been teaching Yin Yoga classes since the fall of 2009. I often feel as if I have had a massage after a great yin class, and hope that my students feel the same. My focus is on relaxing the body and mind while bringing out a more peaceful and balanced state of mind. I love the therapeutic side of yoga and will often focus on specific areas of the body, frequently at the request of my students. All body types are successful in these classes and I strive to ensure that all students leave feeling relaxed, restored, and renewed.
