Kristin Cornelissen     West Lafayette

Kristin began her yoga journey while living in Singapore where she practiced power vinyasa and Bikram styles. Following repatriation to the US, she completed a 200 hour yoga training as well as Baptiste Level I, Baptiste Teacher Credential courses, and other trainings. After teaching power vinyasa classes for a few years, she completed a Yin Yoga training with Dennis and Kathy Lang of Bella Vida Yoga. To deepen her practice and teaching, she then completed the 50 hour Yin training with Bernie Clark and Diana Batts.

Kristin shares that in Yin Yoga the body, the mind and the breath are quieted. It is the perfect recipe to develop strength, greater mobility, flexibility and overall optimal health. Yin is a perfect counterbalance to not only a power vinyasa flow class but to an overall yang lifestyle.

Kristin’s Yin classes focus on the physical benefits of the practice while incorporating meaningful texts and readings to enhance the flow of the class.
