I experienced my first emotional release while holding a pose at the end of a Power class. Eventually I would learn that this long-held pose called “Frog” was considered a yin pose—I can thank that experience for opening me up to the greater depths of emotional healing through yoga. Yin yoga is a practice in patience and stillness, in a time when most of us are constantly living in our sympathetic nervous systems. Through the practice, I've learned how to allow and observe rather than react and force, and my hope is to help others cultivate the same.
I’m currently in Berlin, but I float back to California for "Yin & Soundbath" sessions in Joshua Tree—check my website to find out when I'll be where 🙂 Trainings completed include: 50-hour Yin with Bernie (November 2013); Paul & Suzee Grilley's 50-hour Anatomical Foundations of Yin (March 2018); Jana Roemer's 60-hour Yoga Nidra (June 2018).
