I teach private yoga classes for 1-3 students at my office in Sterling and teach a larger group yin class at Beloved Yoga in Great Falls, VA. My love for yoga comes from a a deep desire and passion to facilitate the body’s innate ability to heal itself. The yoga of my personal life began to bleed into my professional life when I was working at a Rehab Hospital as an Occupational Therapy Assistant. I found myself using yoga with my patients in one way or another, every day. This led me to become a yoga instructor and I have been teaching since 2000.
My trainings and teachers include Liz Koch of Core Awareness, Max Strom, Paulie Zink, Joe Barnett (Senior Teacher with Paul Grilley), Baron Baptiste, and Shiva Rae.
