Katarina Svabcikova     Indianapolis

I am a passionate and devoted student of Yoga, and it is truly through my studentship that I can serve the people in my community. I teach with a “functional approach to yoga” in mind. What it means is that I honor the knowing that every student has a different body (especially the size, shape and orientation of their bones) and so I teach with that understanding in mind, offering modifications so students can feel empowered to move away from the strict alignment-based cues and instead move toward what feels good to them. I find this approach to be a very empowering practice that requires an invitation to go inside so that we can investigate the sensations that we find.

It is always an honor and a privilege to serve my students. I am an e-RYT200 and RYT500 with over 150h of Yin Yoga Training and I continuously learn and study with my teachers.
