I loved the strength I developed and the meditative state I found in Power Vinyasa. As my body changed, my practice evolved, and I realized I needed to balance Power Vinyasa with more stillness. Power shifted to slower Vinyasa, and I expanded my practice and teaching to include Yin Yoga.
Making a clear distinction between Yin Yoga and Restorative, I encourage clients to explore as they make their way to their edge of sensation in target areas and use props to help them settle in at that edge. Melding Yin holds with meditation, breathwork, acupressure and elements of Yoga Nidra I seek to create a space where true physical and mental transformation is possible.
