Julia Breese     Victoria, B.C.

Julia Breese's journey into yoga began as a method to prevent injury from the active and extreme sports she had been involved in. Once she had established a regular yoga practice she realized how important the gentle yogic approach was for herself, both in her physical practices and in other parts of her life. Carly Forest's Yin Yoga classes in particular showed her the value of quietness and stillness, in contrast to the busy high paced life she had previously been living. In 2011 she received certification as a Professional Hatha Yoga Teacher through Ajna Yoga and is currently working on a 500 hour Advanced Teacher of Therapeutic Yoga certification. Her classes are gentle, relaxing and accessible to all people regardless of age and physical ability.
