Jepa Pihlainen Helsinki
For Jepa Pihlainen, yin yoga is the basic yoga practise she started with in 2008 and to which she always returns. She studied her RYT200 with Clare Gates-Sjöblom and teaches yin in Paul Grilley lineage style, with influences from therapeutic and restorative yoga. Besides yin, she teaches yin/yang, Unnata aerial, wall yoga, restorative yoga and gentle hatha classes. She is also a certified massage therapist, adult educator, and philosophy teacher. Her teaching style has been described as humoristic and down to earth but anatomically informed. She teaches weekly classes and themed yin workshops in Helsinki area and offers summer yin yoga retreats in Finnish archipelago.
