Jennifer OSullivan RYT500 Alexandria, Virginia
Jennifer’s teaching style is an eclectic blend of foundational practices like Ashtanga Vinyasa and free-form expressions of meditation in motion. She draws inspiration from the mindfulness teachings of Thich Nhat Hanh, and she encourages her students to abide in the breath through the ups and downs of practice and life. Jennifer enjoys practicing and teaching Yin Yoga for the opportunity to inquire into the nature of stillness in the body and mind.
Jennifer holds yoga teaching certifications from Pure Prana Yoga Studio in Alexandria, Virginia (RYT 200); the Nosara Yoga Institute (Self-Awakening Yoga & RYT 500); Manju Jois (Ashtanga Vinyasa); and Biff Mithoefer (Yin Yoga). She is also a certified Pranassage and Thai Massage practitioner, receiving certifications from the Nosara Yoga Institute and the Thai Institute of Healing Arts respectively. She is a member of the International Association of Yoga Therapists (IAYT) and is registered with Yoga Alliance at the 500 hour level. Jennifer is also the Assistant Director of Pure Prana Yoga Studio’s Holistic Yoga Teacher Training in Alexandria, Virginia.
